H&K MP5K

The weapon was developed by the German firm "Heckler and Koch" for special operations forces and is a heavily shortened modification of the MP5 submachine gun. It is freely placed under clothing, in the glove compartment of a car and other limited volumes. Recently, it has been positioned on the world arms market as a personal self-defense weapon (Personal Defense Weapons PDW). The combat characteristics are practically the same as those of the original sample.

The shortened barrel and small-capacity magazine make automatic firing not entirely accurate and appropriate, but at short distances it is very effective. A telescopic sight can be used on the MP5K submachine gun. On the MP5KA1 model, the front sight and sight are very slightly protruding above the smooth surface of the receiver, in order to prevent them from catching on clothing or a holster during extraction. The MP5KA4 modification is equipped with a device for controlling automatic fire (fixed bursts of three shots). A front handle is installed in the front of the receiver, which provides convenience in handling the weapon.
