Colt M4 (Carbine, 5.56mm: M4) - an assault rifle created in the USA based on the M16A2, originally for arming the crews of combat vehicles and crews of weapons and military equipment.

7.62mm Kalashnikov assault rifle (AK) - a combined-arms machine, adopted for service in the USSR in 1949; GRAU index - 56-A-212. It was designed in 1947 by M.T. Kalashnikov.
