Fastman92 Limit Adjuster 2.1
Leaving far behind SALA from Sacky in terms of stability and surpassing Open Limit Adjuster from ThirteenAG in functionality, this relatively new but rapidly developing limit adjuster from fastman92 claims to be a Must Have for all fans of extreme GTA modding.
Works with the following GTA games: GTA VC (in development); GTA SA; GTA IV (in development); GTA V (in development).
It is the core of such modifications as SAxVCxLC and GTA: SOL Underground . Compatible with mods such as Project 2dfx and Modloader.
Versions for GTA IV and GTA V are in development, but already in this version the Vehicle Audio Loader for GTA IV is available, and the map limits have already been “broken” by 50%. FXT file hacks have also been implemented for the last two parts of the series.
In version 2.2 for GTA SA the ability to use skins on added cars will be added.
The log file generated by the adjuster will help not only track changes in game limits and memory addresses, but also in finding errors caused by third-party mods.
List of main game limits, available for editing:
- IPL file limits (map limits, which are responsible for the placement of objects on the game map, definitions of game zones, paths, garages, markers, etc.);
- Game engine limits (limits on the number of IDE files of different types responsible for defining various game objects);
- Map limits (dimensions of the game world, LOD parameters, map rendering parameters);
- IMG file limits (archive size up to 32Gb, total number of IMG archives, the ability to nest one archive within another - for example, the vehicles.img file in the gta3.img file);
- Car limits (cargrp.dat, spawner);
- Game rendering limits (number of objects drawn);
- Limits on the number of files of a certain type (ID Limits);
- Limits of the handling.cfg file (it is now possible to add new unique lines to the file for different types of transport);
- SCM file structure limits;
- Various game limits:
- Game card zone limits (standard - 4 zones: LS, LV, SF, general);
- Limits of spawn points on the map (standard - 10 hospitals, 10 police stations);
- Limits for editing the water.dat file (it becomes possible to assign new zones);
- Stream memory manager (analogous to MemStreamFix and CLEO scripts from fastman92);
- Manager of special transport functions (analogous to Vehicle Special Abilities, the addition of Hydra-type aircraft is now available; in development);
- Built-in Vehicle Audio Loader (for assigning sounds to cars added to the game);
- Ability to use skins for cars installed on added IDs (will be in version 2.2)
Requirements:
- A basic understanding of game limits and the need to increase them;
- ASI Loader (Silent's ASI LOader 1.3 is recommended);
- GTA San Andreas v1.0 [US] HOODLUM No-CD Fixed EXE (14,383,616 bytes);
Known Issues:
- Backward compatibility of saves made with the modification installed is not guaranteed.
