This mod adds to the game the ability to select and customize any weapon except the parachute. Now you don’t need to edit weapons several times in 3ds Max. In order for the weapon to fit well in the hand, it is enough to change the coordinates of the weapon relative to the player.
Using the script:
To activate the mod, enter "WP" and you will be able to scroll through all the weapons that are in the game (+7 new weapons) with the mouse wheel. Weapons can be scrolled both forward and backward. If you notice that any weapon does not lie well in your hands, you can move it in any direction. To customize weapons, use the "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6" keys on the main keyboard. You can also quickly go to the middle of the list, i.e. if the player has brass knuckles, then when you press “Insert (Ins)” he is given the “Desert Eagle” pistol.
Features of the mod:
Weapons do not disappear upon customization;
There are 50 weapons available for selection and customization;
Editing keys can be changed in the INI file if desired;
You can install up to 7 new weapons without replacement;
The type of new weapon is set in the INI file;
Made a quick transition to the middle and back.
Installing a new weapon:
Other models can be loaded in the same way as standard weapons (by any IMG file editor into the "gta3.img" file).
If you downloaded a new weapon, then simply rename the dff and txd files, the file names should be like this:
weap1.dff and weap1.txd (for 1 weapon);
weap2.dff and weap2.txd (for 2nd weapon);
weap3.dff and weap3.txd (for 3rd weapon);
weap4.dff and weap4.txd (for 4th weapon);
weap5.dff and weap5.txd (for 5th weapon);
weap6.dff and weap6.txd (for 6th weapon);
weap7.dff and weap7.txd (for 7th weapon).
Editing the INI file.
1. Open "WeapMOD.ini" (located in the "cleo" folder) with any text editor;
2. At the very beginning you will see “[KEYS]”, and below are the key numbers for setting up weapons;

4. Next are the coordinates of all weapons; they do not need to be changed.

The installation is automatic, just open the "Weapons mod.exe" file and follow the instructions.
Note: the mod requires the ! library to work! CLEO 4.
