Welcome to the Cretaceous Period! We would like to present to your attention our development - a computer game called “Cretaceous Runner”, which translated from English means approximately “Cretaceous Runner”. This is not your typical reptile shooting game, or even a Dromaeosaurus simulator, but something more. You, under the guise of everyone's favorite Dromaeosaurus, are given the opportunity to independently explore dinosaurs, their behavior, place of residence, and, of course, hunt everyone who meets along the way. But this is just the beginning. The boundaries of the game do not limit themselves to the borders of Canada. You can also walk through the United States, which, among other things, is home to bloodthirsty tyrannosaurs, look into cold Greenland and get acquainted with the local inhabitants and harsh climate, and also get across the ocean to Mongolia to the world famous Velociraptors. Having started it in his nest in the forests of Alberta, the main character will grow and, after completing story missions, find himself in new territories. Having lost his flock, the hero gets caught up in a whirlpool of events and finds himself in more and more unthinkable situations each time - from flying on a pterosaur to moving through time! Yes, the game really does present this nonsense, but why the hero needs all this and who he is fighting with - you will find out as you progress through the game. Each square kilometer of the area was studied separately. Canada will delight you with bright blue skies, huge fields, endless forests and many bodies of water, the United States will delight you with its diversity - both coniferous forests and desert canyons, and on the shores of Flodira and California, under palm trees, you can admire pink sunsets over the endless ocean. Greenland is characterized by snowstorms and white nights, and sweltering heat and scorching sun will become the hallmark of Mongolia. All effects have been improved compared to the original GTA SA, on whose engine the game was created, the drawing distance has been increased, and the graphics have been improved. Unfortunately, the game can be buggy and crash from time to time, please be patient, because the game is homemade, and we also had to show a lot of patience to create it, despite the fact that many called it impossible. If you get tired of going through story missions, there will always be something to do in the game. You can simply hunt dinosaurs, you can upgrade your skills in many directions, collect bonuses located in the most secluded places on the map, look for Easter eggs, and so on. As you complete the game, additional features will also be unlocked. In addition to birds, CR is also home to the “classic” Spielberg raptors. The project started on August 14, 2010, the release took place on May 9, 2013. You can install the mod in an empty folder, not the original game.
