AN-94 "Abakan" — Russian assault rifle, developed in the USSR as part of the "Abakan" competition. It was adopted for service in 1997. The special feature of the assault rifle is firing a burst of two shots at a very high speed. It was not widely used due to difficulties in design and maintenance.
