1954 Schyster Atlantis is a unique concept car inspired by the 1956 Chrysler Norseman, with design cues from the '57 Chevy Bel Air and '62 Chevy Impala SS.
Equipped with a 5.4-liter Hemi V8 producing 235 hp and a PowerFlite automatic transmission, it featured advanced suspension, individual bucket seats, and a fastback body, as well as a pillarless design capable of supporting eight times its own weight in a rollover.
The car was named Atlantis because, like the legendary city, it was futuristic and mysteriously vanished—sinking in the Atlantic Ocean after the Andrea Doria shipwreck on its way to New York.
