The Challenge is a mod that makes the GTA San Andreas game more difficult and gives a new experience, but at the same time remains faithful to the original atmosphere and story.
Originally created for speedrunning enthusiasts, it can appeal to anyone as it adds new features and depth to San Andreas.
What's new:
- Missions: Almost every mission has been changed in one way or another - it has become more difficult, more interesting, or simply different.
- Map: Completely redone, added garbage, buildings, tricks, construction sites, changed some parts of the map.
- Vehicles: 37 new vehicles including some from VCS and LCS, new map spawns and new mission related vehicles.
- Weapon: 10 new weapons, many balance changes to the original weapons, and new HD icons for each weapon/tool.
- Pickups: All pickups (except melee weapon pickups) have been removed.
- Balance: Some of the original weapons and vehicles have been slightly modified to make the game more challenging.
- Money: Important enemies can drop a lot of money. Now everything costs much more.
- Police : They have modified cars with new liveries. The police have become Super Cops - they are more aggressive. They have 3 new units.
- Collectibles : 150 new graffiti, 50 chips, 50 snapshots, 80 unique tricks and 50 Sweet Toys.
- Random events : Random events can occur depending on the player's progress as you explore the map.
- Personal vehicles : You can unlock 4 vehicles that can be summoned anytime, anywhere. Someone will drive them to you.
- Fast movement : You can use certain taxis to get from point A to point B.
- And much more: many other changes regarding missions, spawns, quality of life, textures, clothing, atmosphere, etc.
What's new in 1.4:
Important:
Save files do NOT work between versions because the script has been heavily modified.
Installation:
- Copy "GTA San Andreas - The Challenge" to the folder you need
- Copy the "audio" folder from your original game and paste it into "GTA San Andreas - The Challenge"
- Create a shortcut to gta-sa.exe or run it.
*Audio files are not included, so you will have to get the files from your own folder.
**If you have any problems, please read the README.txt file.

The Challenge — это мод, усложняющий игру GTA San Andreas и дающий новый опыт, но при этом сохраняющий верность оригинальной атмосфере и истории.
Созданный вначале для любителей спидрана, он может понравиться любому, поскольку добавляет в San Andreas новые возможности и глубину.
Что нового:
- Миссии: Почти каждая миссия так или иначе изменена — она стала сложнее, интереснее или просто другой.
- Карта: Полностью переделана, добавлены мусор, здания, трюки, строительные площадки, изменены некоторые части карты.
- Транспортные средства: 37 новых транспортных средств, включая некоторые из VCS и LCS, новые спавны на карте и новые транспортные средства, связанные с миссиями.
- Оружие: 10 новых оружий, множество изменений в балансе оригинального оружия и новые HD-иконки для каждого оружия/инструмента.
- Пикапы: Все пикапы (за исключением пикапов рукопашного оружия) были удалены. По всей карте расставлены новые пикапы.
- Баланс: Некоторые виды оригинального оружия и транспортных средств были слегка изменены, чтобы сделать игру более сложной.
- Деньги: Важные враги могут дропнуть много денег. Теперь все стоит гораздо дороже.
- Полиция: У них модифицированные автомобили с новой раскраской. Полицейские стали Супер-Полицейскими — они более агрессивны. У них появилось 3 новых юнита.
- Коллекционные предметы: 150 новых граффити, 50 чипов, 50 снимков, 80 уникальных трюков и 50 "Игрушек Свита".
- Случайные события: Случайные события могут происходить в зависимости от продвижения игрока, когда вы исследуете карту.
- Личные транспортные средства: Вы можете разблокировать 4 транспортных средства, которые можно вызвать в любое время и в любом месте. Кто-то подвезет их к вам.
- Быстрое передвижение: Вы можете использовать определенные такси, чтобы добраться из точки А в точку Б. Новые такси открываются в зависимости от прогресса.
- И многое другое: множество других изменений, касающихся миссий, спавнов, качества жизни, текстур, одежды, атмосферы и др.

Важно:
Файлы сохранения НЕ работают между версиями, так как скрипт был сильно изменен.
Установка:
- Скопируйте "GTA San Andreas — The Challenge" в нужную вам папку
- Скопируйте папку "audio" из вашей оригинальной игры и вставьте ее в "GTA San Andreas — The Challenge"
- Создайте ярлык gta-sa.exe или запустите его.
*В комплект не входят аудиофайлы, поэтому вам придется взять файлы из собственной папки.
**Если у вас возникнут проблемы, прочитайте файл README.txt.

Я не был уверен, что включение этих модов непосредственно в папку разрешено или нет, учитывая, что некоторые из моих модификаций нуждаются в этих модах для правильной работы.
