50s Radio Station "WWKB" v.0.1

Let's dive into history and imagine that in the 1950s, there was a music radio station "WWKB" broadcasting at 1520AM in Los Santos.

Over time, it was acquired by a larger station.

This modification adds that very radio station with music, shows, and advertisements from that era. (Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Beach Boys, in short, rock n roll)

The replaced station from the game is "Playback FM".

Installation:

Move the files CH and ADVERTS from the "audio" folder of the archive to the audio/streams folder in the game directory.

Replace the file models/fronten1.txd in the game directory with the file models/fronten1.txd from the archive.

If you have a clean version of GTA SA without a localization pack, then

Move the file text/american.gxt to the "text" folder in the game directory.

If you have a localization pack from SanLtd, do the same but with the folder "text(Localization SanLtd)" from the archive.

The modification is under development, so if you encounter difficulties in installation or usage, feel free to reach out.

P.S.

For the savvy. There are several "historical" inaccuracies, for example: the modification features the show Alan Freed, which was actually broadcast on the "WINS" station. This was done intentionally to make the radio feel unreal, just like all the radio stations in GTA.
