In the early stages of development, Rockstar planned to include impound lots where the main character's cars would end up. However, in the final version of the game, a glitchy script remained that saves all cars ever used by the player (including those used in the air and water) to the impound lot.
This mod fixes the bug and makes the impound lots work properly.
- The impound lots are located in the underground parking lots of all three police stations.
- Now, only the player's personal car is saved to the impound lot. "Personal" refers to cars that were previously stored in the garage of any safe house.
- If your vehicle is in the impound lot, a vehicle icon will appear on the map when you approach a police station.
- Your personal vehicle will be stored for the duration of the game session or until another vehicle is impounded.
Vehicles left outside the safe house garage for an extended period will be impounded. Additionally, a vehicle may be impounded when starting a story mission.
The script activates automatically; no action is required. To install, unzip the Enhanced Impound.csa file to Android/data/com.rockstargames.gtasa.
