This mod reworks the behavior of vehicles in GTA 4, making it closer to reality. Maximum speed, acceleration, gearbox and drive type now match the characteristics of real cars according to IGCD.net and automobile-catalog.com.

What's changed:

Realistic performance: speed, gears, drive (FWD, RWD, AWD);
Redesigned damage system: modern cars are stronger and old ones are more dangerous;
Crashes have become more spectacular and require more caution at high speeds;
Mission chases have remained balanced: enemies drive according to a set scenario.

Three versions of the mod are available:

Enhanced Damage Only;
Realistic performance + enhanced damage;
Even more damage + realistic physics.

Installation:

Go to the game folder:
...\common\data
(or ...\TBoGT\common\data / ...\TLAD\common\data for add-ons);
Place the desired version of handling.dat and rename it to handling.dat, replacing the original file;
Be sure to make a backup copy of the original file.

Suitable for all versions of GTA 4 and add-ons.
