Since the time of GTA 5, the author has not left the thought that the original "Vapid Stanier" (in GTA IV - the main police/taxi) is a 1990s car, confirmed in lore, but still used as the main service sedan of Liberty City even in 2008. This mod is designed to bring a more modern successor model from GTA 5 to IV, known in the community as the "2nd Gen Stanier", with some improvements and ideas from the iconic Crown Vic P71, while remaining true to the original story and design of Rockstars.
