Corvette 1968 Stingray
The third Corvette is based on the 1965 Mako Shark II concept. The look created by David Halls is simply gorgeous! Muscular stampings, complex plastic sides - this car is still one of the most beautiful! By the way, when creating this very plastic, David Halls was inspired not by anything, but ... by a fitted Coca-Cola bottle (designed by Raymond Loewy, who also became famous as a car designer)!
