The stadium (Liberty Memorial Coliseum) with stands with a rather obscene inscription on them, is completely closed in the original game. That is, the player cannot get there. By the way, according to rumors, the cut out creepy character Darkel gave a mission in which he had to drop a bomb on a stadium because his favorite team lost.
What does this mod do? The most important thing is the opportunity to get to the stadium. Just use the entrance to the stadium, walk or drive there (the stands can be used for extreme driving).
When I made the mod, I thought that this was the first mod that made it possible to get into the stadium, but I found at least one similar mod (more precisely, a video with it), but the dangerous places were not “fixed” there. Here, all possible failures (the stadium was not intended for us to enter) are completely and carefully closed. The model is also “pre-light”, that is, it will not be overly bright at night.
Another feature is improved textures. As mentioned above, the stadium was not intended to be viewed from the inside, so the textures there are extremely blurry. With this mod they will be much better. The walls of the stadium, the lawn, the stands, the grass around it and other little things have been improved.
Additionally, textures of lower and original quality are provided.
Стадион (Liberty Memorial Coliseum) с трибунами, на которых выложена довольно неприличная надпись, является полностью закрытым в оригинальной игре. То есть, попасть туда игрок не может. Кстати, по слухам, вырезанный жутковатый персонаж Даркел давал миссию, в которой надо было сбросить бомбу на стадион, потому что его любимая команда проиграла.
Что дает этот мод? Самое главное — возможность попасть на стадион. Просто воспользуйтесь входом на стадион, проходите туда пешком или проезжайте на автомобиле (трибуны можно использовать для экстремальной езды).
Когда я делал мод, полагал что это первый мод, дающий возможность попасть на стадион, но нашел как минимум один подобный мод (точнее, видео с ним), однако там опасные места не «заделаны». Здесь же все возможные провалы (стадион же не предназначался для того чтобы мы туда заходили) полностью и тщательно закрыты. Для этого модель пришлось немного доработать и сделать новую коллизию, зато провалиться теперь никуда нельзя. «Прелайт» модели также выполнен, то есть, она не будет чрезмерно яркой в ночное время.
Другая особенность — улучшенные текстуры. Как уже писалось выше, стадион не предназначался для осмотра изнутри, поэтому текстуры там крайне размытые. С этим же модом они будут значительно лучше. Улучшены как стены стадиона, газон, трибуны, так и трава вокруг него и прочие мелочи.
Дополнительно предусмотрены текстуры более низкого и оригинального качества.
