100 Details From the GTA 6 Trailer 2

Although the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 is just under three minutes long, it can really give you a lot of information. Fans are already guessing what we will be doing in the game, what additional activities and mini-games await us. But in this article, we have collected a hundred interesting details that can be seen in the trailer, as well as on the official Rockstar website, from the obvious to the subtle. Surely, many of them will appear in the release version of GTA 6.

Detail #1. At the very beginning of the trailer, Brian asks Jason: "What are you doing up there?" He is answered: "Oh, just fixing some leaks." But in the English version, a play on words is heard, the main character's phrase can be translated as "Sorting out a leak." This is a clear reference to the unfortunate situation that happened in 2022, when many of the GTA 6 source files leaked online. Rockstar is clearly making fun of itself.

Detail #2. Jason's tattoo on his left shoulder is clearly a reference to the hero's military past. It depicts a parachute, a green beret, and a skull. Most likely, this is a canonical tattoo, because it corresponds to the hero's backstory. In addition, it can be seen in many scenes and on official art.

Detail #3. Jason's apartment from the beginning of the trailer is not in Vice City itself, but on one of the islands of the Leonida Keys archipelago, which is south of the metropolis. It was there that Brian launched his activities. He allowed the main character to stay in one of his houses. On one of the guy's T-shirts, the inscription Key Lento is noticeable. Most likely, this is the name of the island, probably even the one on the territory of which he lives.

Detail #4. Brian is involved in the transportation of illegal substances through Vice City. His small company, which services boats and other watercraft, is used as a cover. In the trailer, you can see that it is called Brian's Boat Works & Marina. Below is the caption Boat Repairs, Equipment & Storage. You can also recall that in GTA 4 there was a mission in which Niko and Belik raided a boat station through which illegal goods from Vice City were imported into the city. Both games take place in the same universe.

Detail #5. When Lucia leaves prison, she has an electronic bracelet on her leg. Such items are worn by prisoners who have received parole. For some time, they cannot leave the designated area. Perhaps this moment will be reflected in the game itself. For example, at the beginning of the game, the territory available for exploration will be strictly limited. Note that the bracelet appeared before — it can be seen on the official GTA 6 art, which was published simultaneously with the first trailer.

Detail #6. According to the terms of her release, Lucia must perform community service. This is reflected in two scenes at once — we see a girl cleaning up the trash, and then returning home in a work uniform. On the vest you can see the inscription LDC (Leonida Department of Corrections), which translates as "Leonida Department of Corrections". In other words, these are not the cleaners who got the job voluntarily, but former prisoners. Special bracelets can also be seen on the legs of other girls. They clean under police supervision.

Detail #7. One of the bandits took a bat in one hand and a revolver in the other. Jason and Lucia will probably also be able to use two different weapons at once. Especially when it comes to short-barreled firearms.

Detail #8. Jason has a snake at home. It sits in a terrarium, so we can conclude that the guy specially bought it at a pet store. There is a possibility that the game will feature the ability to have pets. There are other pets in the trailer — a cat in the store and a dog on the street. And on the girl's neck sits a tame iguana with its own little crown.

Detail #9. One of the girls is walking with a dog. This is a new element of the game, there was nothing like this in GTA 5.

Detail #10. You can also see wild animals in the video. For example, a large iguana is crawling right next to Jason's house, a raccoon is rummaging in the garbage nearby, and ducks are swimming in the sea.

Detail #11. Lucia is involved in illegal fights. We learned that the girl knows how to fight from the description of the heroineand on the Rockstar website. In the trailer, we saw a fight with her participation, and the arena is fenced with a rough iron grate. The setting hints that we are not seeing official competitions, but underground fights.

Detail #12. Lucia's pendant is made in the form of a boxing glove. This reflects the girl's passion and her fighting spirit.

Detail #13. Lucia's outfit during combat looks the same as Catalina's outfit from GTA: San Andreas. As with Phil Cassidy, who we'll talk about below, this is just a fan reference.

Detail #14. Lucia delivers a powerful kick, and she strongly deviates her body to the side. This does not look like a standard attack, it feels closer to a complex move. There is a possibility that the game will feature a full-fledged hand-to-hand combat system. Something similar was encountered at a rudimentary level in GTA: San Andreas.

Detail #15. If you count the number of plates on Jason's barbell and their weight, you can conclude that he bench presses 120 kilograms several times (4 plates of 20 kg, 2 plates of 10 kg and a barbell of 20 kg). This is an excellent result for an amateur athlete, especially considering that the guy has a dry body and practically no fat. There is a possibility that visits to gyms and outdoor gyms will turn out to be interactive mechanics that affect the hero's appearance, like in San Andreas. Judging by the official screenshots, Lucia will also play sports and work with a punching bag in boxing gloves. Perhaps training with iron will allow her to change her figure.

Detail #16. The Manates jersey is reminiscent of the Miami Dolphins, an American football club that was the national champion in the early 70s.

Detail #17. The Ocean View Hotel from the original Vice City has become more modern, but retained its recognizable style. Its design is now even more reminiscent of the real The Clevelander Hotel, which is located in the Miami Beach area.

Detail #18. Also worth noting is the Boardwalk Hotel, which looks like the real Breakwater.

Detail #19. The Rusty Anchor club has a poster inviting you to a concert by The Hammers and The Strummes. We'll probably get a chance to attend the show. Something similar happened in Vice City, when after completing the Love Fist quest chain, the main character Tommy was invited to a rock show with them.

Detail #21. In the same establishment there is a sign Hurricane Roxy. With a high probability, this is due to the weather phenomena in GTA 6, rumors about which have been circulating for a long time. It is quite possible that they will directly affect the gameplay. In the US, it is common to name tornadoes and other natural disasters after women. And Roxy is a diminutive version of Roxanne, like Anechka for Anna. It is possible that the hurricane was named after the singer from the Real Dimez group.

Detail #22. Dangerous animals roam the swampy area known as Grass Rivers. According to the descriptions, alligators are not the most fearsome predators that will be encountered by those who decide to travel through these lands. This is a clear hint at bandits who do not like witnesses and competitors. The appearance of hunting as a separate mechanic seems natural, because it was already in GTA 5 and the Red Dead Redemption dilogy. In the trailer, we see Jason flying over the swamps and chasing a hovercraft. Judging by the art, they are used by local poachers.

Detail #23. Lucia is wearing a T-shirt with the inscription Gellhorn International. This is an interesting moment, because by the beginning of the events of GTA 6, the port of Gellhorn has turned into a not very prosperous place. There you can find closed amusement parks, meet dubious individuals, see the effects of illegal substances in all their glory and more. There is a possibility that Gellhorn International is the name of the airport, but, again, it is unclear whether it is functioning or has already been abandoned by the early 2020s.

Detail #24. The Ambrosia region is ruled by the local biker gang The Final Chapter,which can be seen in the trailer and on official art. They can be enemies of the main characters, as in GTA 5, or their allies, as in GTA: Vice City. But the opportunity to play as one of the bikers, as in GTA 4: The Lost and Damned, seems unlikely.

Detail #25. Cross-country motorcycle racing will take place on the territory of Mount Kalaga National Park. Liquid earth mixed with mud under the wheels of bikes and ATVs evokes associations with the first part of the Motorstorm series.

Detail #26. On the road signs, you can see references to areas that are not yet described on the official Rockstar website. Among them are Southside, Peacock Bay and others.

Detail #27. The owner of the gun shop Phil is not the same character who was in Vice City, Liberty City Stories, GTA 3 and Vice City Stories. We have a reference to him, but nothing more. And it's not even that the fake Vietnam veteran has no arm, while the character from the sixth part's video does. Vice City and GTA 6 take place in different universes, so we won't see any familiar characters from the 2002 game. But if we compare the characters directly, the new Phil is most similar to Mr. Cassidy from Vice City Stories.

Detail #28. You can see tuning on one of the parked cars. It's simple — cat paw prints. But this is a hint that cars can be decorated with various airbrushing.

Detail #29. In the trailer, you can see an overground metro, like in GTA 3. Most likely, this is one of the ways to quickly move around the city.

Detail #30. Although Grass Rivers is considered an extremely dangerous place, there is clearly a developed tourism business and water walks. There are even well-appointed houses that look unusual, considering that poachers are operating nearby. Perhaps such dangerous places attract thrill-seekers.

Detail #31. During her escape from the brothel through the second-floor window, Lucia is wearing the same clothes as at the end of the first trailer. In addition, Jason is shooting from a similar car. And in the same car, our couple drives off into the sunset at the end of the second video. Most likely, we are talking about the same mission. Perhaps the lovers committed a robbery during the day, and had to escape in the evening, because someone turned the couple in to the police.

Detail #32. A cargo ship with containers can be seen in the background. It is not yet known whether it will be possible to catch up with it by boat and steal the valuable goods. Most likely, yes.

Detail #33. Now some NPCs will drive in the back of pickup trucks. Surely, when we try to steal a car, they will start jumping out of the car.

Detail #34. And individual characters are leaning out of the windows. We're talking about both NPCs and Lucia at the very end of the second trailer. And there's no specific goal in this, people are just having fun. We've never seen anything like this before.

Detail #35. A metal container was attached to the pickup. Most likely, it's a safe. There are two options here — either the heroes planned to do this from the start, or something went wrong, they had to run, and didn't have time to pick the lock. The scene itself is a clear reference to the movie "Fast Five", which had something similar.

Detail #36. There is a machine with lottery tickets in the store. Most likely, this is not just a decoration, but a mini-game that, with due luck, will allow you to quickly earn money

Detail #37. During the arrest of criminals, in addition to police cars, you can notice black cars with inconspicuous flashing lights. Most likely, this is the FIB, the local equivalent of the FBI. Now agents are also engaged in the arrests of especially dangerous bandits. And we are talking about random NPCs, because Jason just drives past them.

Detail #38. There are girls among the police. Previously, they could only be added to the GTA series games using mods.

Detail #39. It is unlikely that you will be able to steal the white airship. It is clearly based on the Fat Albert that flew over the Florida Keys. But it is an unmanned aerial vehicle, so you won’t be able to sit at its controls. In reality, the aerostat was used to track contraband. Perhaps we will have to somehow disable it for a while or make it fallinto the ocean.

Detail #40. The number on the truck Lucia jumps into says Liberty City. Apparently, the girl is intercepting cargo from another city. At the same time, the sports car in the back has Leonida's number. It's unlikely that this is just a mistake on Rockstar's part.

Detail #41. The numbers on different types of transport are different. A small thing, but it works great to create a realistic world.

Detail #42. The official art hints at possible mini-games. Among them are golf, basketball, billiards, and fishing. You can also see men diving and kayaking (rowing single-seater boats).

Detail #43. The guard at the prison is clearly familiar with the name Jason Duval. There are two options here — either the guy was already behind bars, or he cooperated with this cop. The first option seems more plausible.

Detail #44. Jason's T-shirt says "Let Freedom Reign" and features a crazy eagle with two rifles. This is a clear mockery of American methods of imposing democracy. Apparently, the guy is disappointed in the US military and is expressing his protest in this way.

Detail #45. Jason's hair length and beard change throughout the trailer. Surely the ability to cut and shave will migrate to GTA 6 from Red Dead Redemption 2. Lucia's hairstyle is also not static and looks different, depending on time and circumstances.

Detail #46. On the mulatto woman you can see a pendant with the letters B and L. This is a reference to her name. The girl's name is Bae-Luxe, she is a member of the rap duo Real Dimez. Together with her friend Roxy, she hopes to conquer the music charts and become a famous singer. The second girl also wears a pendant with her stage name written on it.

Detail #47. The trailer repeatedly features police officers as important characters who claim that they need to cover for each other. It is highly likely that one of the plot lines in GTA 6 will involve corrupt cops.

Detail #48. In the ears of Jason from the trailer and Lucia from the official screenshot, you can see wireless headphones that resemble AirPods. At the moment, it is unknown whether this is just an accessory or whether the characters will be able to listen to music at any time. The author of these lines is leaning towards the second option.

Detail #49. Jason is clearly enjoying the attention of the girls. One coquettishly greeted him when he was driving to knock out money for Brian, another turned towards him in the store, and two more beauties stopped and watched as the guy bench pressed the barbell. But it is not known whether we will have the opportunity to have affairs while Lucia is in prison. Interestingly, we were not shown any manifestations of male attention to her.

Detail #50. In the video, you can see a game console. Externally, it resembles a PlayStation 5, but its gamepad is closer to the DualShock 4, which was used on the PS4. Perhaps this is not just a decoration — in some projects, you can play other games as an additional activity. For example, something similar was found in Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. Moreover, there are two gamepads on the table at once, which hints at joint games.

Detail #51. The trailer has many scenes in which Jason and Lucia show feelings for each other. However, everything will most likely be limited to in-game scenes, no minigames. The scandal surrounding the Hot Coffee mod from 20 years ago is probably still fresh in the memory of Rockstar executives.

Detail #52. The bank that Jason and Lucia rob has the abbreviation SNB. It stands for The Sinfrontera National Bank. It is most likely a reference to the real City National Bank, which is located in Miami.

Detail #53. In the second trailer, Jason and Lucia enter the NINE1NINE nightclub. This is a hint at the real E11EVEN, which is located in downtown Miami. It is advertised with huge banners attached to flying airplanes. Something similar can be seen in the first trailer — a poster with the inscription NINE1NINE was "carried" by a Dodo.

Detail #54. The guy taking the selfie with Jason and Lucia looks exactly like Fernando Martinez. He is the host of Emotion 98.3 and WCTR radio stations. He has appeared in GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas and Vice City Stories. Of course, this is a different character, but like Phil Cassidy, it is an obvious reference.

Detail #55. You can see from the interior of Jason's house that it is being renovated. This is also hinted at by the opening scene from the trailer, where the guy is fixing the roof. The big question is whether we will be able to customize our apartment ourselves or everything happens according to the plot.

Detail #56. On some car numbers you can see the state of Gloriana, which has not been mentioned anywhere before. Fans theorize that the game will not be limited to Vice City alone, but will also take place in other cities. However, this assumption seems unlikely. At the same time, it is possible that the plot will feature people from other regions of the United States who came to Leonida. There is an assumption that Gloriana is an adaptation of the state of Georgia, which in reality is located north of Florida and borders it.

Detail #57. Homeless people will appear in the game. One of them can be seen when Jason left the store with bottles of beer. They will probably have separate quests, like in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Detail #58. For some reason, the security of this club threw out a visitor. Perhaps he was behaving aggressively or pestering the dancing girls without permission. It is not yet known whether this is a cutscene or whether such situations will be common.

Detail #59. In one of the screenshots, you can see a scale with divisions that shows the depth of the flood. It is probably related to the new weather system, which makes tides possible.

Detail #60. The helicopter with a bright red coloring looks unusual. Fans have suggested that it can be used to extinguish fires or quickly transport a patient to the hospital. Similar air transport was seen in GTA: Vice City Stories. There is another hypothesis — this is a coast guard helicopter.

Part #61. Many characters take selfies. Apparently, this is a standard animation for NPCs. And the main characters will probably have the opportunity to take pictures of themselves and post the resulting shots on the Internet.

Detail #62. You can see campaign posters that call for voting for one of the local politicians. There is a possibility that some of Jason and Lucia's missions will be related to the elections in Vice City.

Detail #63. The underwater world promises to be diverse. In the official screenshot, you can see three types of inhabitants of the sea depths at once — a turtle and two different fish. We are sure that this is far from all.

Detail #64. One of the helicopters is connected to a news program. You could see the results of high-altitude filming in the first trailer. It is possible that the reports will directly depend on our actions. Something similar was seen in Hitman: Blood Money, where the text in the newspapers was based on how we eliminated the target.

Detail #65. In the screenshot, you can see that the bikers are violating traffic rules. They cross the double solid line and drive into the oncoming lane. Moreover, the road is narrow, so such a maneuver seems especially dangerous. Note that Rockstar registered a separate patent, which is related specifically to traffic and pedestrians.

Detail #66. On one of Jason's T-shirts, you can see the VRock station logo from Vice City and Vice City Stories with slight differences. Perhaps an analogue of this radio will appear in GTA 6.

Detail #76. Among the beachgoers, there are girls without bras. However, it is not yet clear whether we will see something similar in the game itself. In real Miami, a fine of $500 is imposed for appearing in a public place without a bra. And in other states, for example, California and New York, sunbathing without a top is completely legal.

Detail #79. You can pay attention to the interior design of the buildings. However, it is not yet known whether these are real locations or some kind of illusion, like in the remaster of the 3D GTA trilogy.

Detail #80. The Miami Heat basketball team received its own analogue, which is called Na**os. The font and the symbol in the form of a burning ball are the same.

Detail #81. The game will feature a surprisingly large number of vehicles from GTA Online. For example, the Outlaw, which looks like a Lego Technic set.

Detail #82. Jet skis will be transported by cars to the beach, and then ridden on them in the sea. In the trailer, we see a jet ski attached to a car, and in the screenshot, a pickup truck is standing on the shore, with an empty trailer. Apparently, its owner is already cutting through the water.

Detail #83. The characters in the background are not just NPCs, but tourists. They take pictures in front of landmarks, are interested in the goods sold in the souvenir shop, and ask the tour guide about something. Most likely, these people were traveling around Vice City on the gray bus.

Detail #84. This moment may seem unpleasant to you, but we can notice a man who went to relieve himself. And he is not embarrassed by the fact that women are relaxing nearby. However, it is not surprising, considering the contingent of the area.

Detail #85. If motorboats and boats look familiar, then inflatable rings are something new. However, it is not yet entirely clear how they can be used in the gameplay. Especially considering that we will not be playing as Tommy Vercetti, who could not swim.

Detail #86. Poachers filled the back of a truck with the bodies of dead alligators and are trying to escape pursuit. Illegal hunting is being prosecuted, but it is possible that we ourselves will be able to take part in the shooting of crocodiles. Businessclearly profitable, since the bandits are ready to take risks and shoot at the police for the opportunity to leave with the goods.

Detail #87. The screenshot gives a complete idea of ​​what the Real Dimez group's videos are like. Moreover, one of the guys not only films them, but also posts the recording online. Detail #88. In several shots, you can see bulletproof vests worn over clothing. This is a tribute to realism. In addition, due to the peculiarities of the warm climate of Vice City, wearing them under clothing is uncomfortable and hot.

Detail #89. The Lombank logo can be seen in the background. Unlike SNB, this bank has appeared in all HD Universe games, including the fourth and fifth parts, as well as Chinatown Wars.

Detail #96. The girls in bikinis washing cars are clearly shown for a reason. It is quite possible that this is how you can now wash off the dirt from your car. Let us remind you that vehicles will realistically get dirty, especially if you drive off-road.

Detail #97. If you look closely at the graffiti, you can see the word Haiti. Apparently, Little Haiti from Vice City will be in the sixth part. Or is it just a reference to the classics. At one time, representatives of the Haitian diaspora sued Rockstar for putting their people in a bad light.

Detail #98. The prison where Lucia is serving her sentence is as similar as possible to a real correctional facility called New River. It is located in the city of Raeford, Florida.

Detail #99. The physical model of the motorcycle brought back memories of GTA 4. For example, it takes a little time to put the wheel in the right position, and when you start moving, you feel a slight inertia.

Detail #100. The game's release date, which is scheduled for May 26, 2026, is a double reference. On this day, only 92 years ago, Bonnie and Clyde, whose story clearly inspired the writers of GTA 6, were buried.
