The modification replaces the textures of Karl with Duke Nyukem. The 3D model remains the same. After replacing the files in the player.img archive, you need to select clothes and a hairstyle with Duke textures.

You can replace Carl with Sonic, Golden Sonic or Shadow. You can also replace any pedestrian with a sonic.
