RDR 2 developer reveals secret way to complete one of the quests

Six years after the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, one of the game's developers revealed that gamers still missed some content. It turns out that one of the quests could have been completed completely differently, but 99% of players never found out about it.

In Saint Denis, the main character Arthur Morgan can take the quest The Mercies of Knowledge from inventor Andrew Bell III. The scientist needs to get hold of 100 gallons of moonshine to power a certain "love machine". With the help of a tip from a clerk from Rhodes, Arthur tracks down the moonshiners' cart, gets rid of the driver and guards, and delivers it to Saint Denis. There, it turns out that the moonshine was needed to create an "electric chair", with which the scientist wanted to relieve criminals sentenced to death from suffering — however, the result was the opposite.

However, in a recent episode of the GTA VI O’clock podcast, Ben Hinchliffe, a former Rockstar Games designer and developer of games like L.A. Noire, RDR 2 and GTA 5, suddenly revealed another way to complete the quest. It turns out that Arthur could simply follow the wagon. As a result, it will simply arrive at the camp, where the player can steal it without a fight:

If you don’t ambush it on the bridge when you are told to, and you follow it along the road for quite some time, it will end up in a bandit camp. And there is a full camp there, with enemies doing other animations. The guys go off the wagon and into the tent. I literally like, I’d say 99% of the people never saw that.

Earlier, the developer said that the secret of Mount Chiliad in GTA 5 was just trolling. We would also like to remind you that a new event with pleasant free bonuses for players has started in Red Dead Online.
