The voice actor of Arthur Morgan shared his opinion regarding the «canonical» ending for his character in Red Dead Redemption 2. Roger Clark is definitely a supporter of «high honor». There are four endings for Arthur Morgan in RDR2. All of them end with the hero's death, but how exactly he comes to his end changes a lot. High honor and helping John Marston leads to a touching scene at dawn, the same level of honor and returning to the camp for money — to an equally impressive death in the forest. With low honor and helping John, Arthur will simply be shot by Micah Bell, and upon returning to the camp, a traitor in a white hat will stab the main character, plunging a knife into his back. Of course, Roger Clark preferred the ending in which Arthur with a high level of honor helps John Marston fight off the Pinkertons. He commented on his choice as follows: «There is a version with high honor and with helping John, and there is a version with high honor and with returning for money. I don't see much point in returning for money. Arthur's days are numbered, what will money do for him anyway?.. I think that helping John with high honor is the "canonical" ending for me». Earlier it became known how many copies of RDR2 have been sold since its release.
