Today, Red Dead Revolver, the very first game from the cult series of Rockstar Games, celebrates its twentieth anniversary. It was through the story of Red Harlow that we later met John Marston and Arthur Morgan.

The game was originally developed by Rockstar San Diego (then Angel Studios) together with Capcom for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox, but later due to disagreements the company ended the collaboration, retaining the rights to publish the game in Japan. Red Dead Revolver turned out to be a rather bizarre shooter with numerous references to spaghetti westerns, and the main character largely copies the characters of Clint Eastwood. Despite some frivolity, the game is also about revenge, like the rest of the Red Dead series.

By the way, in Red Dead Redemption 2 you can find references to the main character of the very first part. One of the random travelers can tell you about Red Harlow, sitting down to rest by the fire. And among fans of the series there is a theory that Uncle is the same legendary shooter.

Have you ever played Red Dead Revolver?
