NVIDIA announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be upgraded with the support of DLSS technology. This will boost FPS on new NVIDIA graphics cards starting from RTX 20 series. NVIDIA DLSS is a system based on a neural network that upscale the resolution in real time.
Simply put DLSS will provide almost the same picture quality from native resolution while gamers could use lower resolution to get higher FPS. Also the update will add 8K-resolution (7680 × 4320 pixels) to RDR2.
So every NVIDIA GeForce RTX gamer will get a boost in performance. NVIDIA didn't provide the release date for this update.
