Halloween in Red Dead Online: zombies, new weapons, clothes and game mode

Grim news: Halloween Pass was released for Red Dead Online. It’s available for 15 gold bars. It is actually starting today and remains until the 16th of November.

The new PvEvP game mode was added - Dead of Night. It’s a showdown-like game mode for four teams of players set to fight against each other and The Dead (who are zombies armed with guns). Also, a Gothic renovation for your Moonshine Bar was added.

You can now become an owner of a skeletal Zavala machete.

Nightwalker and Ghost Panther are the new Legendary animals available. Nightwalker Panther was first spotted in the mist and shadows south of Bolder Glade, and Ghost Panther was seen hunting deer in Bluewater Marsh.

Madam Nazaar has the halloween masks available, however, they are available for a limited time. Buy one of these masks to receive the reward containing 10 Poison Throwing Knives and a free Ability Card.

Find Harrietum Officinalis and buy the Opossum Vitalism Studies pamphlet from Harriet to transform into an opossum. Also, for your Naturalist needs, Fast Travel is free of charge until the 26th of October.

New masks are available for your steed: Flayed Bison, Buck Horse and Painted Ram horse masks.

The update also adds the Gallows Blindfold, emotes and reactions for your character.

Spooky Halloween-styled photo studio backgrounds like the Cemetery or Abandoned Mansion became available.

Everything unlocked while the Halloween Pass is active – from today until the 16th of November – will remain yours after the Halloween Pass expires.
