Fans Compare GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition and Definitive Edition

Who is better — a team of enthusiasts or professional studio developers? Players decided to compare the GTA Vice City remaster from the Definitive Edition trilogy from Grove Street Games and the fan project Nextgen Edition from Revolution Team.
Youtuber Gameinvader took apart both versions of the game, comparing various details. In the video below, you can see what jumping from a great height, car accidents, swimming (in Nextgen Edition, Tommy Vercetti learned to swim), collisions with hydrants and the reaction of cars to damage look like:
It is noticeable that the remaster from Revolution Team on the GTA 4 engine compares favorably with the Definitive Edition. For example, cars leave skid marks and a tire can burst, Tommy falls more naturally during accidents, and car glass cracks when hit by bullets. However, both versions did not work out with the physics of water during explosions.
Let us recall that the modification of GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition was released yesterday after two years of development. The project was made completely autonomous and completely free.
