Take-Two Interactive has sued Remedy over the letter R in the studio's logo

Take-Two Interactive has filed a lawsuit for trademark infringement. The corporation has grievances with Remedy Entertainment, which updated its logo at the beginning of 2023. Now it features a bifurcated letter R.
According to Take-Two, the logo now resembles the Rockstar emblem, which could confuse potential customers. Notably, Take-Two Interactive collaborates with Remedy, funding the development of remakes for Max Payne and Max Payne 2.
As everyone knows, Take-Two Interactive is extremely aggressive in protecting its trademarks. For instance, in 2021, the developers of the cooperative adventure It Takes Two had to relinquish their trademark, which was too reminiscent of the corporation's name.
