Neural Network Learns to Imitate GTA 5 Gameplay Convincingly - Video

Neural networks continue to be used to recreate gameplay footage of popular games. Recently, a video surfaced online showcasing GTA 5, with its gameplay recreated using Google's Veo 2.
The visual style, car physics, and the presence of a mini-map might initially confuse and lead one to believe it's real gameplay footage, but in reality, it's the work of artificial intelligence.
Some speculate that Google was able to train its neural network using YouTube databases, which is why the video appears so realistic.
As a reminder, we previously reported that a major update for the PC version of GTA 5 was announced.
