Even GTA 6 publisher Take-Two admits that PC gamers have a large market share. In a recent report to investors, Strauss Zelnick raised this topic again, saying that they need to cover as many platforms as possible.

As a reminder, GTA will be released in the fall of 2025 on Xbox Series X/S and PlsyStation 5. The announcement of a PC version seems obvious, but Rockstar Games is slow to announce it. Amid silence from the studio, Take-Two says that computers will play an increasingly important role, competing with other gaming platforms.

According to Strauss Zelnick, supporting projects on PC is not that difficult. The Take-Two boss noted that the company is seeing excitement in the computer games market:

The audience is going to show up if you have great properties, so we just have to make sure to be on an array of platforms. We're seeing great growth in PC right now, for example. I have been of the view that open formats would continue to grow and PC is an open format. I do think PC will continue to be a more and more important part of the console business going forward, and that isn't complicated for us to support at all. So the bottom line is, we are selective about which platforms we support. We make the tech work when we can make it work, as long as the audience is big enough to make that worthwhile.
— Strauss Zelnick

However, he did not give a clear answer to the question of when to expect an announcement of the PC version of GTA 6.

Earlier, Take-Two presented a rough list of all releases planned for 2025.
