GTA Vice City Prequel Mod is in Development

Enthusiast Flavio has announced the GTA: Liberty Wiseguys mod, which will tell the story of the events leading up to the GTA Vice City storyline. The plot of the mod will take place in Liberty City between 1968 and 1971 and that setting is being respected in every way possible from guns, vehicles, real life references.
The author of GTA: Liberty Wiseguys plans to keep the game as canon-friendly as possible. He will use all possible information from previous parts of the series for this purpose.The main inspiration for GTA: Liberty Wiseguys is Scorsese's Goodfellas.
The mod currently runs in a modified version of GTA San Andreas.
