The mobile versions of the remastered games in Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition have surpassed 30 million downloads, according to analytics portal Mobilegamer.biz.
The most popular game in the collection on Android and iOS is the updated version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, with 20.5 million downloads. The remasters of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto 3 have been downloaded 6.5 million and 3.3 million times, respectively. The majority of downloads were on Apple smartphones and tablets.
Originally released for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on November 11, 2021, the trilogy made its way to iOS and Android two years later.
