A fresh update for GTA Online has been released, adding a special tool called ToxMod, based on artificial intelligence, to the game. It's designed to automate moderation in voice chat, detecting toxic behavior of players.
Such a feature already exists in games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Among Us VR.
The idea is for the AI to automatically identify violators and block them.
Here are the patch notes:
- Added the ability to record voice chat for potential moderation;
- General stability and security fixes;
- Fixed issues that could lead to crashes when reporting players or loss of information in certain cases;
- Fixed issues where text on PC was not displayed to other users in the lobby.
At the moment, the update is only available for the PC version of GTA Online. By the way, this mode just turned ten years old.
