A group of enthusiasts has launched an unofficial server (GTA:OG) for GTA Online, which allows players to once again enjoy the multiplayer mode on seventh-generation consoles — PS3 and Xbox 360.

The GTA:OG server offers gamers the chance to experience the same impressions that the old version of GTA Online provided. The project was previously in beta testing, but recently it has become available to all users.

You can play not only on PS3 and Xbox 360, but also on PC using the RPCS3 emulator (there are some restrictions that prevent inviting other players to participate in activities). At the time of writing the news, there are over 600 players online.

Remember, GTA Online recently celebrated exactly ten years since the launch of this mode. It seems that GTA:OG is a great way to see what multiplayer was like in the days of PS3 and Xbox 360.
