Rockstar Games has released the Los Santos Drug Wars: The Last Dose update trailer, which showed the return of Dr. Friedlander in GTA Online. Actor Ned Luke, who played Michael in GTA 5, commented on the therapist's return to the game.

The trailer suggests that Dr. Friedlander will have an important role in the final part of Los Santos Drug Wars DLC for GTA Online. He may be the main antagonist in the upcoming update.
