GTA players found a prototype of the Cayo Perico island. Now they are making fun of it on Google Maps

GTA Online players a real life prototype of the Cayo Perico island added in the last update. The island is based on Canouan island, a small island in the central part of the Grenadines archipelago 50 km away from another island, Saint Vincent. The developers made a copy of it in GTA Online, but inverted it horizontally.

The players started making fun of the find. Canouan airport now has a subtitle “Cayo Perico airport”, and GTA Online screenshots can be found alongside real photos of the island.
It is worth mentioning that Cayo Perico’s greeting sign was copied from a significantly similar greeting sign located in Pablo Escobar’s personal zoo.
