GTA 6 Could Generate $3.2 Billion in Its First Year
Analysts at DFC Intelligence have already started crunching the numbers for Grand Theft Auto 6. According to the firm’s projections, the game is expected to generate $3.2 billion in its first year alone, with pre-orders accounting for a third of that amount.
The Financial Times highlighted that GTA 6 is poised to set a new benchmark in the entertainment industry, with its predicted revenue surpassing even the biggest blockbuster films.
Yoshio Osaki, CEO of IDG Consulting, weighed in, calling GTA 6 "one of the biggest entertainment launches in history, not just in games but for all of media."
Previously, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick expressed unwavering confidence in the game, describing it as something "no one has ever seen before."
GTA 6 is set to release in fall 2025.
