Strauss Zelnick on GTA 6: Rockstar is Creating an Experience That No One Has Seen Before
Last week, Take-Two Interactive informed investors that GTA 6 will be released in the fall of 2025. Shortly after, the head of the corporation, Strauss Zelnick, appeared on CNBC to provide more details about the development process.
According to Zelnick, Take-Two is "highly confident" in the fall release. The company also makes conclusions based on the number of bugs that need to be fixed before the release.
"There are elements that can actually measure, for example, the number of bugs in a title. Every one of us will make sure we have as few bugs in a title as possible before we launch.
However in the case of an extraordinary title, for which there are extraordinary expectations, it's not really about bugs. It's about creating an experience that no one has seen before, and Rockstar Games seeks perfection. Perfection is hard to measure," Zelnick said.
When the next showcase of GTA 6 will take place is still unclear. The game was announced last December, but recently dataminers discovered placeholders on the official website, hinting at the imminent release of the second trailer.
