The portal Kotaku reported that Rockstar Games plans to release Grand Theft Auto 6 in early 2025. However, sources within the publication believe that the project may be delayed until the fall.

According to Kotaku, the development of the game has fallen behind schedule. Now, Rockstar Games is concerned that they might not meet the deadline and could be forced to delay the project until the fall or even postpone it until 2026. This is the reason the company decided to bring back their employees to the offices.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is being developed for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. A version for PC has not been announced yet.
