The GTA 6 trailer has set a record on YouTube
In less than a day, the first Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer has gathered nearly 70 million views, and this number is quickly growing. The video has already set a record, becoming the most viewed non-musical video on YouTube within the first 24 hours. It's worth noting that the previously held record belonged to the popular YouTuber Mr. Beast.
To set an absolute record, the trailer would need to surpass the video for BTS's «Butter», which gathered 108.2 million views in the first day. Many in the online community believe that GTA 6 might not be able to beat this record, as rough estimates suggest it will only gather an additional 15 million views in the remaining time.
It's worth noting that earlier, references to real people were found in the GTA 6 trailer, including a woman with sledgehammers and the Florida Man. Furthermore, the sixth part's Vice City has been compared to real-life Miami.
Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released in 2025 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The PC version will be delayed.
