Michael Actor Ned Luke on GTA 6 Announcement: «There's some big asses in that trailer»
Ned Luke, who played Michael de Santa, hosted a stream on YouTube dedicated to the GTA 6 trailer. The actor shared his thoughts on the announcement and also touched on the criticism of the main heroine, Lucia.
Like many other fans, Luke initially saw the leaked version of the trailer in poor quality. The artist didn't expect the leak, so at first, he thought it was fake. «This got to be a fake, but it's so good, how could it be a fake? I can't imagine somebody faking making something look that good. If they did, they're in the wrong business,» he said.
Ned was surprised not only by the graphics but also by the female characters. More precisely, their big thighs. «How big the asses are, that surprised me. There's some big asses in that trailer».
During the stream, the actor argued with a fan who criticized the game for having a female protagonist. According to the fan, it speaks of the «weakness» of the developers.
«I don't understand that. Not a woke fan, why? Because there is a female protagonist? There's been female badasses for a long time. That's kind of a dumb statement. [...] A fan wrote: «I'm not a fan of female leads, it looks weak». You know what, that statement makes you look weak. It doesn't make the game look weak, you look weak. When you see this chick kicking ass and taking names, you got no shot. i know some female martial artists, that would just destroy you. And it's not woke, I'm the furthest thing from woke, trust me. Wake up, get into the 21st century, there's some badass chicks out there,» the actor stated.
GTA 6 is set to release in 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The PC version will likely come out later.
