US Government Calls for Increased Security Measures After the GTA 6 Leak

The leak of GTA 6 files, which happened last September, became one of the largest in the history of video games. Later it was reported that a member of the group Lapsus$ was involved in the Rockstar hack.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security published a report on the activities of Lapsus$. The hackers used simple techniques, among which was SIM swapping. They impersonated other people, obtained their numbers and gained access to two-factor authentication codes.
The department recommends companies to implement fingerprint-based security or use hardware keys.
