Tez2, the dataminer, researched the information from the GTA 6 leak and came to the conclusion that it took quite a long time to create more than 400 builds of the game. The game development in late 2018 — early 2019, almost immediately after the release of Red Dead Redemption 2.

After analyzing the leak, Tez2 concluded that the release of GTA 6 might be expected in 2024. According to the dataminer, the process of creating the game will require about five years of active development, as it was with RDR 2. This information is also confirmed by the Take-Two financial report, where a large revenue growth in 2024 was predicted.
