Next-gen version of GTA 5 for PC will be released in 2025
Rockstar Games has finally announced the transfer of the features of the next-gen version of GTA 5 to PC. Let us remind you that back in 2022, the version of the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S acquired such features as improved textures, frame rate up to 60 FPS, and more.
The studio announced this in another note on its own website, dedicating it to the new mode in GTA Online and mentioning the release of the next-gen version on PC. Judging by the announcement, its release should be expected in 2025. The game was updated back in 2022 on consoles, thanks to which it acquired new graphics modes, support for 4K resolution and frame rate up to 60 FPS, improved textures, animals from GTA Online, fast loading, and other nice innovations.
Rockstar itself has not yet indicated which «popular console features» will be transferred to the PC version, but it can be assumed that a good part of the improvements from the list will be them. They promised to tell about the details later.
As for GTA Online, a new business will appear in the game — the Darnell Bros sewing factory, which will become a place for planning robberies, as well as new content in the form of vehicles, equipment (like a scanner of collectibles) and some improvements. The update will be available in December.
Earlier, players noticed that one little thing that many fans liked was missing from GTA 5.
