GTA 5 made it to the list of the most popular games on the Epic Games Store in 2023

Epic Games has revealed the most popular games on the EGS platform in 2023. The list includes Grand Theft Auto 5 and four other projects — Fortnite, Genshin Impact, Rocket League, and Dead Island 2.
Undoubtedly, the success has been influenced by Grand Theft Auto Online, which Rockstar Games continues to actively support. In December, the game received a significant update called The Chop Shop.
It was also reported that the number of users on the EGS reached 270 million. In 2023, the store welcomed 1300 games and applications. Users spent $310 million on third-party projects and $950 million on applications owned by Epic Games. Additionally, the company announced that over the year, they gave away 86 games for free.
