Grand Theft Auto 5 became the most popular game on Twitch in December

GTA 5 by a large margin took the first place in the list of the most viewed games on Twitch in December 2023. Users on the platform spent 162 million hours watching streams of GTA V, a success clearly driven by GTA Online.
In second place in the top rankings was the battle royale game Fortnite, and third place went to the MOBA League of Legends. It's noteworthy that almost all the games in the list are multiplayer.
The most popular games on Twitch were:
- Grand Theft Auto 5 — 162 million hours;
- Fortnite — 101 million hours;
- League of Legends — 94 million hours;
- World of Warcraft — 49 million hours;
- Valorant — 47 million hours;
- Call of Duty Warzone — 38 million hours;
- Minecraft — 37 million hours;
- CS:GO — 36 million hours;
- DOTA 2 — 35 million hours.
Earlier, it was reported that the debut video of Grand Theft Auto 6 surpassed the Minecraft trailer in views. Additionally, an enthusiast enhanced the graphics in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City using NVIDIA's unique technology.
