Rockstar Removed Liberty City Easter Egg from GTA 5 Remaster

Insider Rockstar Mag mentioned a curious Easter egg in GTA 5. When you enter the Opium Nights Hotel near the airport at night and take a look at the glass on the far right, you will be able to see the skyline of Liberty City in the reflection.
There is a theory that happens in the sake of the hotel's name since it is impossible to see Liberty City in San Andreas if you are not under some influence.
The thing is this Easter egg only works in GTA 5 versions for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is absent in the remastered game and there is no way to tell if Rockstar simply forgot about it or specifically decided to remove it.
