GTA 5 was launched on Xbox Series X. The game starts fast, but it’s not ideal
Popular Twitch streamer Stallion already tested Xbox Series X. He shared his thoughts about the Xbox One version of GTA 5 played via backward compatibility in his Twitter. Streamer noted the game’s loading speed was fast: loading screens took around 10 seconds.
There is, however, a downside: FPS is locked to 30 frames. Stallion believes that FPS lock is intentional, since 60 FPS will obviously be supported by remastered GTA 5 for next-gen consoles.
For those asking me if GTAV gets any benefits on Xbox Series X, answer is naw, locked to 30 FPS. Don't forget Rockstar made a lot of money selling that game twice at the start of last gen.

As ppl noted, Rockstar already announced next-gen enhanced versions of GTAV separately.
It gets benefits from loading of course, as does every single game. Down to like 10 seconds into the campaign.

GTA 5’s remaster was announced by Rockstar Games earlier this year. The game will become available in the second half of 2021 and will receive performance and graphical advancements. The developers are yet to provide any exact details about the updated version of the game.
