New Version of Project Thunder Mod for GTA 4 Adds Blackouts

A new version of the Project Thunder mod is being developed for GTA 4, aiming to make storms and thunderstorms much more realistic. Recently, developer ItsClonkAndre released an update introducing blackouts — large-scale power outages capable of plunging entire districts of Liberty City into darkness.
During a blackout, the city will be shrouded in darkness, and subway trains will come to a halt. The outages also impact gameplay, making it harder for the police to track down Niko.
You can download the mod here. Previously, a different mod was released for GTA 4 that added the need to refuel cars.
GTA 4 celebrated its 16th anniversary in April. Recently, former Rockstar Games technical director Obbe Vermeij shared a story about an unusual issue with the game’s vehicles.
