Some may say that GTA 3D universe's sound quality isn't the greatest part of the series. Some effects and dialogues in these games have been compressed and muted. The sound lacked depth. One group of modders decided to fix the audio for the original GTA trilogy.
The Audio Restoration Project mod maximizes the potential of all sound effects and dialogues in GTA 3 missions. The difference is especially noticeable on good acoustics or headphones. The modification can be recommended to all audiophiles and players who want to improve every aspect of the game.
Right now the mod is available only for GTA 3, but the developers plan to recreate the sounds for GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas.
