This mod for Red Dead Redemption 1 makes changes to the game scripts to remove the ability to obtain a war horse when starting the game on normal difficulty.

This mod will only take effect for new games.
If you want to get rid of a warhorse in an existing game, you can simply buy or tame another horse.

Installation:

Unpack the content.rpf file from the downloaded archive into the folder (game folder)/game/, replacing the existing content.rpf file. It is recommended to make a backup copy of the original file before replacing.
If you're using the Rockstar Launcher, it will likely replace the content.rpf file when you launch the game. To get around this you can set ASI loader.
After installing Ultimate ASI Loader x64, create an "update" folder inside the game folder, then create a "game" folder inside the "update" folder.
Extract the content.rpf file from the mod to the folder (game folder)/update/game/ so that the modified file is located at [game folder]/update/game/content.rpf.
