This mod increases the resolution of all textures in the vfx.rpf file by 4 times compared to the original. It improves some of the more detailed particle effects, including smoke, sparks and other environmental visual effects, creating a more immersive atmosphere in the game. The mod does not increase the resolution of all particles in Red Dead Redemption, but only those that are in this particular file.

Installation:

1. Go to the RDR directory.

2. Go to the “/game/” folder and create a “/backup” folder.

3. Copy the file “vfx.rpf” from the “/game/” directory and paste it into the “backup” folder.

4. Download and replace the file with an improved one in the “/game/” directory.

To undo the changes, delete the enhanced "vfx.rpf" file and paste the original file from your backup.
