SilentPatch is a plugin that restores cut aspects of the game, fixes bugs and returns cut features from the PS2 version that were lost as a result of a crooked PC port.
List of SilentPatch fixes:
- Fixed a bug with the mouse on new systems;
- The game runs slightly better at high FPS. The friezes have been fixed, but there are still problems with the physics and speed of the car. Therefore, it is recommended to play with the FPS limit in the settings;
- Fixed reflections from a wet road;
- All pickup lights have been fixed;
- All texts now have correct shadows (depending on the selected resolution, without the fix they may be thinner, etc.);
- Rosenberg's words now play correctly after the player is arrested;
- Some props at the Malibu Club, Ocean View Hotel and Pole Position Club have been restored; also shows more props from the street from the inside (same as on PS2);
- If the settings file is missing, the game will now adjust to your desktop resolution rather than 640x480x16;
- The dependence on DirectPlay has been removed - this should improve compatibility with Windows 8 and 10;
- The game will no longer crash due to file protection;
- Fixed video memory error;
- Another way to get the path to GTA SA User Files to increase compatibility and just for the future.
Installation:just copy all the files to the game folder (where gtavc.exe)
