This mod transfers the resources from the PS2 version of the game build dated 10/01/2002 to PC. The reVC launcher can read files from both the PS2 and Xbox versions of the game. I have compiled and slightly edited the resources for optimal gameplay on PC.
Important: This build will not work on very weak computers due to the way files are read!
The build includes:
- All models and textures from the PS2 beta version;
- PS2 beta scripts (main.scm);
- PS2 beta map;
- PS2 beta graphics;
- Visually, the game is identical to the original PS2 version.
What remains unchanged:
- Sounds and radio (you can use other modifications, but the audio quality may not be original);
- Interface.
Installation requirements:
- A clean copy of GTA Vice City version 1.0 or 1.1 for PC;
- The latest reVC build for your platform.
