This mod adds dynamically changing lighting for objects.

Attention!

To make the new lighting work, you need to prepare a 3D model (.dff file). Standard game models will not be illuminated!.

Model Preparation

In the model, you need to disable prelight, also known as vertex color (in ZModeler, simply resaving the dff will cause it to be lost). You also need to set the normals direction perpendicular to the object's sides for better lighting (in ZModeler, split the building into parallel planes, then Surface/Normals/Calculate, and merge back).

Installation

1. Copy DirectLight.asi to the game folder.

2. For demonstration, replace wshbuildws14.dff in gta3.img (see screenshot) - the green building in the port of the first island, the building's LOD remains standard without lighting, which allows for comparison.

DirectLight - Динамическое освещение объектов

Мод добавляет динамически меняющееся освещение для объектов.

Внимание!

Для того, чтобы новое освещение работало, нужно подготовить 3d-модель (.dff-файл). Стандартные модели игры освещаться не будут!.

Подготовка модели

В модели нужно отключить прелайт, он же vertex color (в ZModeler достаточно пересохранить dff, чтобы он потерялся). Также нужно задать направление нормалей перпендикулярно сторонам объекта для лучшего освещения (в ZModeler разделить здание на параллельные плоскости, затем Surface/Normals/Calculate, и объединить обратно).

Установка

1. Скопировать DirectLight.asi в папку с игрой.

2. Для примера работы заменить wshbuildws14.dff в gta3.img, (см. скриншот) - зеленое здание в порту первого острова, LOD здания остался стандартный без освещения, можно как раз и сравнить.
